If you’re looking for good food and drinks wonderful service and an all around good experience Philippe’s Chow IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO !! For starters our server Granite, the nastiest, rudest most nonprofessional waiter I’ve ever encountered. We were out to celebrate a birthday and nothing about it was happy. Along with the distasteful service The food was very disappointing and disgusting. When expressed to the staff our food wasn’t to our liking the waiter gave very snarky remarks and was so rude I was forced to ask for the manager. The manager James was also rude and cut me off while I tried to explain my issues. He didn’t do anything to compensate me for discomfort in any way. They also did nothing in celebration for the birthday guest. All in all I will not be returning to this establishment. They should do a better job when hiring their representation for their business.

I was so excited to try this place, I made a reservation for 10:15pm for my mother’s birthday. I got there at 10:20pm and on my reservation it said there was a 15 minute grace period. Once we got there they told us the kitchen was closed, I asked to speak to a manager and he said someone tried to call me and ask me if I was coming or not (which was a lie, no one called me) then he said the last reservation was at 10pm, also another lie since I checked right in front of them and the latest reservation they had was for 10:30pm. We traveled very far to try this restaurant and was very disappointed. I was told to go “see the kitchen for myself if I didn’t believe him” the manger and staff were super rude and offered no solution.

Night was going great… until my own girlfriend told me when she was here once (w ALL females) they got free shots, just so happened to notice the table next to use get free shots. Cool, yall wanna give woman alcohol to look cool that’s awesome; but it was my BIRTHDAY and on top of that we got charged for 2 things we didn’t receive. My friend called them back and said “you can come and get it”.. fam if we wanted it we would’ve ordered it!

Great gem at DT Dream hotel. Had apps at bar with friends. Rating will be higher I’m sure for a full dinner but bartender Kisha was amazing and super attentive. Really didn’t want to leave the bar.

Originally planned to visit a neighbouring restaurant only to find out it was closed for a private event. The doorman there highly recommended Philippe Chow and we were thrilled that he did. Our server was so kind, authentic and attentive. I wish I had taken his name down to recognize him. He made great recommendations - beef satay, crispy Peking duck spring rolls, deep fried pork dumplings and nine seasons spicy prawns. The peanut sauce on the satay was so rich and buttery - perfect complement to the tender beef. The spring rolls were the best I ever had - so super crispy and delicate and the accompanying hoisin sauce was the right balance of weight. I will be dreaming about these spring rolls. The pork dumplings - delicious but would probably try something else next time instead. The prawns were the size of my palm - so crispy with just enough heat that you could still enjoy the dish. Would have loved to try dessert but we were just too full. Cocktails were great (Philipptini & white pearl sangria), pricing for wines by the bottle was a decent range. Had a crisp South African Chardonnay Ambiance was so fun for a Sunday night. So glad we stopped by this restaurant! Would absolutely come back the next time I’m in New York.

Excellent place, quality service, very good food and an elegant atmosphere, amazing cocktail drinks
