Really nice owner, very sorry to leave such a negative review, but this is one of the worst pho meals we've had. Broth way too salty, probably want to prevent diners using the oyster sauce & Sriracha condiments. Broth isn't real bone broth, very weird tasting broth, too little meat, too little vegetable toppings, tea served in disposable cups at $1/cup, everything was so very unpleasant and unsatisfying. We only ate here because the famous Pho 54, our favorite real bone broth Pho restaurant, was closed for vacation until 11.15.23. Pho 54 is A+++.
Small shop in the deep corner. You guys are right. The Red Phở( beef stew) is awesome.
I had the oxtail pho a year ago and it was great. The broth is the meatiest tasting broth in San Jose as of now, but tried the pho dac diet this time around and tasted like the broth was more sweeter this time around which is why I'm rating it 4 instead of 5. Overall soup is strong in flavor. Great quality of meat, and service is good. Understand and speak English well.
Been going here for years. I use to live around the corner, just wished it was around when I did. The pho broth is very rich and the special comes with an ox tail too. This location is still in my top 5 pho spots. It’s a nice mom and pop location so it can get packed on weekends and lunch time due to limited seating but it shouldn’t be a long wait. Be sure to get the Chinese donut with it.
INCREDIBLE and specialized 3 item menu. Such a deep soup made with so much intention and care. Beautiful family owned business with so much quality control.
Deepest, most satisfying broth. Lovely people.
The place is in a corner of an old-looking strip mall. But do not let appearance fool you as their pho is very delicious. The broth is umami and not sugary. They have both fresh and dry noodles. Meat is of good quality. They could give more meat though. The place is neat and clean inside. Service is friendly and attentive.
Delicious soup! My new fav on a cloudy rainy day. Their noodles are fresh. The restaurant is family owned and the owner tung is very friendly, he taught me how to eat with chop sticks (those fresh noodles can be pretty slick ) apparently they cook their beef noodles for over 8 hours and their chicken soups for about 4 hours. The vibe is great and the food is cooked with love
