There's plenty of amazing pho in SD. But this small shop makes a ton of delicious food. The people were very personable and seemed excited to have us. Will definitely return.

I went back to a restaurant I used to love, but this time it was a letdown. The pho just tasted salty and missed all the good flavors it used to have. They also gave less meat and fewer sides than before. Additionally, they charged me $5.99 for a tiny pot of hot tea, which felt like too much. I also tried the mango sticky rice, but that wasn't up to par either. The coconut milk on top had no taste, not what I expected at all. Even though the service was great, the food just wasn't the same. The portions got smaller with a significant decrease in quality.

It’s a good place to eat lunch! Although they brought me the wrong item it was very tasty! There is a language barrier but it should tell you it’s authentic and good! Just make sure the waiter or waitress understands what you want.

This is one of my favorite pho places to go to, and I have seen them making renovations to it throughout the past couple of months. The only thing I would dock them points for is their DoorDashing service, as it seems to get hectic around dinner time and lunch time and they are a smaller restaurant so it’s harder for them to keep up.

I found hair in my rice dish, and they offered to replace it with a different meal. The food was ok, but it wasn't enough to make me come back to this place. There are better vietnamese restaurants if you are willing to drive down to City Heights / El Cajon area.

Got two different salads take-out, which are papaya and mango. Both tasted bland as it lacked herbs like mint, etc. The mango is mostly jicama, I won't consider it as Mango salad, but rather jicama with added mango strings, please consider changing the ratio and will order this again. The place is cozy, and attendant is helpful, also a plus for outdoor seating.
