As a frequent visitor of the museum who thinks it’s one of the best in the world, I agree with the other reviewer who says they don’t understand why such a world class place tolerates having such a subpar dining options
Drip coffee tasted vile. Pastries stale and hard, clearly several days old. Extortionate pricing. Embarrassing that this is the food and beverage offering from such a prestigious venue.
We ordered to cappuccino and they were both different. Very disappointing considering it's expensive.
I was charged 48$ for 2 slices of pizza an 2 ice tea. Insanely expensive!
Oh man. They have to figure out what’s going on here. Great service and well run but this food is absolutely dismal and borderline inedible. Needs a complete menu change. Incredibly expensive too.
The food is inedible, the quiches are horrible, the dough is cardboard. Keep away of it.
Hot coffee was cold . Food was vomit inducing. Avoid. Better be hungry than eat here and unnecessarily expensive.
Beautiful view of autumn leaves, but the coffee tastes like dishwater. Why does the Met management tolerate this, when so many museums around the world manage to have perfectly good cafés?
