The food was awesome and the service was great. Highly recommend.
Went solo on a cool Saturday morning, Pete's was a casual, cozy breakfast spot with some of the best ratings in town. Not a lot of indoor seating but tons more outside and you can bring your check up front to pay so that keeps people moving through pretty fast. I had no wait but it did take a little bit to get my server, I think the busy period was just getting started and they were totally apologetic and cool about it. The iced tea was flavorful and delicious enough it merits mentioning, not watered down and really tastes like tea. My corned beef hash plate and biscuit and gravy side came out sooo fast and man it was amazing. Their corned beef hash is house made with salty tender shreds of crispy beef and pieces of potato, the eggs were a perfect soft scramble and the hash browns are well seasoned and crisp. The biscuit and gravy was pillowy, salted well, and delicious but not mind blowing, super solid. All of this huge feast was only $20! Upscale cafe quality with dinner hospitality and prices, would've been worth a wait and I'm craving that iced tea and corned beef hash. They also use pepper plant hot sauce by default on the table which is such a great product. Parking: They have a modest parking lot that I was able to get a last spot in around 8am, but as they started getting busier it was getting full. There is nearby street parking seconds away and with the turnover it should be easy to find a spot.
This place is awesome! Always love coming here. Corn beef hash was exceptional. Other in our group loved their pancake roll. Service is pretty friendly and on time. We didn't wait long for anything. Their was a wait time for a party of four but it wasn't that long of a wait, totally worth it. We sat on the patio which was comfortable, if you get cold easily may have a light jacket. We all enjoyed the food and service, highly recommended.
Great breakfast spot. It was also featured on Dinners drivens and Dives.
Hands down, best corn beef hash I've ever had. It's not a typical mushy mess. It's really pulled corn corn beef. And the potatoes were perfect. Also, get the biscuit, not toast. They are made in house and PERFECT. Will definitely be back for more!
Great food biscuits and grave was great. A must try if in the area.
Very nice people. Great service..good food breakfast. Can be a little wait i have visited this place about 15 times. Mostly breakfast.
