Penn Station East Coast Subs

I ordered my food from here on DoorDash at 7:43, you wanna know when I got my food? 8:55, wanna know how far I live? 6 minutes. My sub that was supposed to be grilled was ice COLD when I finally got it and so were my fries. My sub barely had ANYTHING on it. Oh! and I tried calling pen station to ask what was going on THREE TIMES and no answer, I tried calling my dasher and it went straight to voicemail! I’m beyond livid right now, i’m a person who struggles to trust food and to eat it and this ruined my night. A waste of money is what this place is. If you want fresh good food avoid this place like the plague!

Not one of the better franchises. Food takes forever. Employees seemed bothered to be helping customers. Food was lackluster at best.

Just gave them another shot and it was equally as bad of an experience. The service is absolutely appalling. Food is up to standards, but they are SLOW. Ordering ahead online wont do you any good either. They didnt start making my order until I arrived after the pickup time and asked for it. From the time I ordered my sandwich till I had it in hand was 35 mins. Not ideal for a lunch break.

Love the fresh fries. the sandwich was cool. The person rang me out not so much , but I got an attitude because I asked for ketchup.

I got the chicken Philly special. Sandwich was tasty but the fries were mushy and undercooked. They were the worst fries I’ve seen anywhere. There were only 2 people working and the problem was that they were too overworked to cook the fries right. They are overworked, underpaid, and have an attitude. But they got their bad attitude from somewhere, and that source has to be the result of bad management who either can or won’t motivate them. I’m saving my sharpest criticisms for the management, though. My bad experience could have been entirely prevented if the management were competent. They need to hire more staff, and they clearly can afford to do that based on the prices they’re charging. I doubt that management would even care as long as they can get the cheapest labor they can find while making overpriced sandwiches and pocketing the money. They’re only in it to get rich quick, hence they are the ones who deserve all of the blame for this review.
