At first, I thought Pelicana was overpriced, but seeing just how much food you get made it worth it. Phenomenal cuts of meat, fried to the perfect balance of crispy, yet juicy. You can't go wrong with any of the sauces! Only issue with the whole experience was the staff. The restaurant is certainly short staffed, with us not getting water unless asked for, and few check-ins at our table

Solid Korean fried chicken. More meat on the bone and larger servings than the competition, looking at you BBQ Chicken. We had the crispy with original, garlic, and plain. All were tasty, though a little on the sweeter side. Sides were good as well. The service was excellent. For other reviews that dinged this place on atmosphere(?) I would comment they must have never visited Korea. This place is a dead ringer for a chicken & beer joint in Seoul.

I don't know what people are talking about poor service. They were quick, respectful and excellent to deal with. The food itself is amazing, i definitely recommend the shaken fries. They are so good. The fried chicken is also really good. Music wasn't too loud for a Korean fried chicken place. It was a little noisy but nothing to an over bearing level

Food is always good here regardless of the time you come. There was no fault to the servers because it was pretty packed, but it would be a while before you saw them again. Other than that, I will come back for the crispy, yet juicy wings.

$80 for some bone in chicken and 2 beers is not worth it. Seattle restaurants are getting out of control.

The food here is amazing, but the service has been consistently terrible the three times we’ve been here over the past year. If you sit at the bar, it seems like the bartenders will actively avoid looking in your direction to let you order or get the check, even when they’re right near you. When sitting at a table, we consistently have to get up and find the waitress to get our check when we’ve been finished eating and drinking for 20 minutes. It’s honestly kind of mystifying, because the staff is definitely busy and actively working, but they’re just focused on every important job except for interacting with the customers. I don’t know if they’re understaffed, or there’s a communication breakdown around who’s responsible for which guests. We also have had some inconsistent experiences with draft beers here, like they’re not running through the kegs fast enough and they’re going bad - which wouldn’t surprise me, because they have around a dozen taps and many of them probably aren’t that popular at a Korean fried chicken place, since the Korean beer is bottled. The waitstaff was happy to replace it with another beer, though, so can’t complain too much about that. Aside from the service, it’s surprisingly one of the best sports bars in Cap Hill, although it doesn’t market itself that way at all. They have a ton of TVs and will show basically whatever you want. And because it’s not really known as a sports bar, not many people are watching, so they’ll happily change them all to your game of choice. And, since I’m writing a novel already, I’ll add one (admittedly very subjective) take that the menu is a bit of a mess. You can choose between original, extra crispy, boneless, or wings, as well as a number of sauces either on the chicken or on the side. But of all those permutations, only some of them are allowed (e.g. only certain sauces on Crispy, only some sauces on the side, etc.) and it’s not made super clear which ones. I’m sure there’s a good reason for the limitations, it’s just not communicated very well.

Overpriced. Not good service. We went there at 11PM, the chicken came out at 11:20, at 11:30 they turned the TV OFF and softly try to tell us to get out soon. They cleaning, sweeping the floor and being so busy cleaning while we were still eating for 10 minutes there. They closed at 12AM while they tried to softly close the store at 11:30PM when the customer still there. That was rude. Couldnt enjoy my chicken.
