Liked 8t but didn't love it. Can't put my finger on the reason.
This is such a good place for breakfast/brunch. It is Hawaiian food forward and all their dishes are delicious. The service here is always outstanding , for example, today my wife ordered an omelette and didn't quite get it to her liking when we informed our server, she happily made another one to my wife's liking, but also brought us a take out container and let us keep the one that was not made correctly and did not charge us for it. This type of service to loyal customers is quickly fading, but here at Peg's, it's alive and well and we thank them for being so accommodating and always providing excellent food and service. This is definitely our go to breakfast spot. Thanks Peg's team, you all are amazing.
We love having breakfast here. It's one of our favorite places to get "Loco Moco", "Portuguese sausage and eggs" and excellent omelets and eggs Benedict. The service is almost always excellent as well. Today I ordered an omelet cooked soft but it came way overcooked. The server took care of it by bringing me a new omelet and even let me take home the overcooked one if I wanted to. The new omelet was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Pegs is a great family owned breakfast/brunch spot. But they close at 2pm so get there early.
They only do breakfast and lunch. The fruit was fresh not frozen or canned. We had the homemade beef w eggs hashbrowns and toast. Was cooked nicely. I really loved the peppers and onions. Staff was very accommodating.
Loved it! Such friendly staff, yummy food, classic diner atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
