Pecker's Bar and Grill

My sisters and I had a fantastic time watching the peckerettes perform this past Saturday night. Dane, our bartender was sweet and accommodating as can be. We were only in Nashville for the weekend, but y’all made us feel a huge Tennessee welcome, thank you! Tell him the Arizona girls will never forget him.

Low-key bar with great dance space and outdoor seating. Food: They have some good bar food including these little carb lite pizzas and quesadillas that are good when dipped in salsa. The only issue I have with the food is that the hours for the kitchen are extremely unreliable. I've been planning to eat there on multiple occasions where I ask what time the kitchen closes, and then when I go up to order 30 minutes before it closes they've already shut everything down. This has caused me to have to get an uber to go get food, and at that point I don't go back because they basically made me leave to go get food so I try another place. This usually causes me to go to Canvas since they have food and drinks. Drinks: The drinks have always been pretty spot on here from our consistent bartender but they have departed the location unfortunately so I will have to imprint on another one and see if they're able to provide the same consistency. They have a very large selection of craft beers to be enjoyed and a decent stock of spirits as well. They even have wine in tiny bottles in the back if you request them. Service: I've always had exceptional service here. There are two obvious points where you may order a drink and even if the line is long it typically moves very quickly. I've never had an issue with attitudes out of anyone that works here. Atmosphere and Events: This location gives somewhat of a Cheers vibe where everybody knows your name during the week and sometimes on weekends too. I would say the crowd is typically older (40+) with the exception of Friday and Saturday nights when there are events that attract younger individuals (21 - 35) for line dancing and drag shows respectively. Recently they have also been doing these Sunday party ordeals as well which has had a much larger variety of people showing up from all ages and walks of life. These Sunday parties also offer a DJ outside and usually a beer bust for 15 bucks a person to drink unlimited beer from a local brewery! This can be a very chill location for casual drinks after work during the week. 1st Post I'm pretty introverted, but I always have a good time here. Love their little pizzas! Parking: On busy days they have an agreement with another nearby business and sometimes directs traffic over there.

I come to Nashville once every few years and get to experience the gay scene while there. This place is absolutely horrendous. The food is terrible, the music was boring, the place is dated and old, it was not busy with very little people there, the atmosphere was nothing but negative vibes as people talked about the place and the owners outside, drinks weren’t bad, and bathrooms were nasty and gross. This place has decline since the last time I was here a few years ago and I remember the place being packed on a Friday night. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO BE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. I would hate to see how a Saturday night would be. Apparently, the owners have hired new employees based off their webpage on Facebook, but I feel for those who have started to work there. This place needs a complete make over if it’s even worth it. Otherwise, I would NOT even recommend this place to any close friends or family as it’s a waste of time. Go to Trax, Canvas, or Tribe for the weekend vibes and good times!

Great place everyone is very nice and the show is great the owners are wonderful people small bar with lots of fun they treat everyone like family go check it out and have a great time

I went here by myself and I normally don’t go out alone but I went and the environment there was so fun and chill plus the food and drinks were amazing!! The staff is so sweet and funny I’ll definitely be back soon!

I have been a Loyal Customer ever since day 1 I totally Love this bar and the owner's are awesome. However they had a bad apple who was taking stuff that did not belong to him and when he got caught he is no longer employed and is asking his friends to bad mouth the bar and give bad ratings just like a 3 year old kid would do. We all know this worthless trash begins with B and if your as low as him be sure you UNFRIEND me too. I will fight for this bar and its owners and HONEST staff. Parking: First Come First Serve

This is a good, friendly bar. Very positive feel. All the current bartenders are very friendly and welcoming, unlike some who very recently departed. Line dancing & karaoke on Fridays, drag show on Saturdays.

While Nashville has several "dive" bars this is definitely among one of the top "dive" bars we have to offer ...with recent changes the atmosphere has only gotten better and the vibe is welcoming and the Saturday night show is a must see... Don't let the negative rumors influence your decisions... Come check this great place out for yourself ... Jim D
