I’ve had one of the best benedicts ever! The Moo Sawan benedict is probably the most unique benedicts I’ve ever had. It had pork jerky, Brussels sprouts, a cilantro-lime hollandaise with a dash of cayenne pepper. It was absolutely delicious! The pork was sweet with good caramelization. And it wasn’t very fatty. The sprouts were underneath and took on some of the pork flavor, and added some smokiness from being charred. The lime in the hollandaise gave it acidity and the dash of cayenne pepper added just the right amount of heat. Any more and it would’ve thrown off the balance of all these flavors. It was a well-composed dish. And the English muffin was thicker than the standard ones, but just right. I opted to get it with potatoes and they were so crispy! I ate everything on my plate and was satisfied. I surprisingly didn’t feel too full, even with having two cups of tea. Speaking of which, if you’re going to get a drink, opt for coffee or alcohol. I got a hot tea for $5, and it was a Numi tea bag. They do offer more hot water when you’re done with your cup, but it’s not worth it. Get something that can be house made or something with alcohol instead. The decor inside is very Instagrammable. There’s a floral wall and flowers above. It makes it very pretty inside. When it’s a full house, it can be very loud inside, especially when there’s children. But this is in Hayes Valley so it was expected. I’ve had lunch here before a few months ago and got their cauliflower hash with truffle oil. That too was delicious. And it also satisfied my hunger without any heaviness. The lunch hour on a weekday is probably quieter. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food, which is Asian fusion, is very unique and very delicious. Plus, everyone there is extremely welcoming. You’ll have a good dining experience here.
Highly recommend this place if ur in San Francisco. Service was excellent, the best pancakes I've had in a while. Food was good, mimosa hit the spot.
