This is my go-to barbecue place in or near Athens. The staff is amazing! I've literally never had bad food from here!! Vegetarian options: None

Best bbq around, I always make it a point to stop in and grab some ribs or brisket any time I'm around the area. Parking: An average driver shouldn't have any issues but a larger vehicle may be a little more difficult Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly establishment , they even have kids bbq plate and sandwich options. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and has a double door for an entrance , wheelchairs are not a problem at all

Wasn't impressed. Stopped in a few weeks ago for a bbq sandwich and mac&cheese. The sandwich was average but the mac&cheese was so bad I couldn't even eat it, and I'm the type that doesn't waste food. Even after trying to prop it up with salt/pepper and mixed in bits of my bbq, there was no helping it - Just undercooked hard noodles in a watery, zero flavor sauce. I've had a better cup of noodles from my microwave.

Looking through some pictures from other folks, apparently you -can- get something that looks like Mac and cheese here, but on my one and only visit.... I would've rather been handed a cup of off-brand easymac than what we were served. It was just... Watery spiral noodles with the smallest suggestion of what might've been cheese. Service was fine, atmosphere is what you'd expect. BBQ and sauce were both fine but.... It's really hard to make up for that mac Edit: I'd like to believe that this was a one-off and they were just -out- of the normal good stuff.... But first impressions were what they were.... And second impressions just happened in response to my review so....

Excellent barbecue.
