I have been to Patty’s several times in the past. The food is good. I went about a week ago with my mother and son and I wanted the waffle special which came with two eggs and two slices of bacon. I asked the waitress if I could have my waffle made into a bacon waffle, which by the way is also on the menu as just a separate item with no sides, and she told me no they could not substitute the waffle out and I would have to order the bacon waffle as my order and then do the eggs and bacon à la cart. When looking all this up on the menu I’d be paying about eight dollars extra. I have never been told at a restaurant that I could not substitute something without paying the difference in the cost. I again asked can I get a waffle special that comes with the two eggs and the two slices of bacon and pay extra for the waffle bacon because I understand it’s just not a plain waffle. Again the waitress told me no they will not do substitutions and muffled something about having to put the bacon in the waffle batter? For this simple reason I will not be back to Patty’s. As I said the food is good, but I did not say the food was great. There are plenty of other breakfast places near and around with food better that I have never had an issue with substitution. So for me it came down to the restaurant choosing money over the patron. Like I said, I was willing to pay extra for the substituted waffle but I did not want to do all a cart as this would’ve made it a $22 breakfast as opposed to me paying 2 to 3 dollars for the bacon to be crumbled in my waffle that they had to make from scratch anyways. Choose where you spend your money wisely , mine will no longer be spent here

Very friendly and good food!

The wait staff is great. The food is good, and it's a nice quiet place to eat. They have a variety of different omelettes. I recommend the skillets.
