This is gonna be a long post. Sorry, in advance. When you grow up between Detroit and Chicago, you eat Chicago dogs and Detroit coneys. They use beef franks that have a snap when you bite into them. Sadly, Pat's dogs aren't like that. I thought the hotdogs themselves were small and cold, and the chili was bland, even though I got it spicy. I'm not knocking Pat's, because there were plenty of customers coming and going and eating in their cars. So I know it is a popular restaurant with those who grew up with it, but I grew up eating hotdogs made a different way. Next time I go there, I'll try a cheeseburger. Oh, you get a lot of fries with your order, so that's a plus!
