Pat's Chili Dogs

Just got back to the shop after ordering 24 chili dogs and 6 fries it would've been great except they forgot 6 dogs make sure to check your orders before you leave

We have been going to this restaurant at least once a year when in DC. Their food and meals are very good and will return the next time we are in DC.

Not clean enough outside for me but fun place

This is gonna be a long post. Sorry, in advance. When you grow up between Detroit and Chicago, you eat Chicago dogs and Detroit coneys. They use beef franks that have a snap when you bite into them. Sadly, Pat's dogs aren't like that. I thought the hotdogs themselves were small and cold, and the chili was bland, even though I got it spicy. I'm not knocking Pat's, because there were plenty of customers coming and going and eating in their cars. So I know it is a popular restaurant with those who grew up with it, but I grew up eating hotdogs made a different way. Next time I go there, I'll try a cheeseburger. Oh, you get a lot of fries with your order, so that's a plus!
