The food is decent for the prices, but my main problem with Patio Pantry is that it's shut down fairly randomly for weeks at a time. I get that it's basically a cafeteria for LLU students, but that makes it very unreliable for us civilians trying to squeeze lunch into a lunch break. I've gone many times only to find it gated up and needing to rush somewhere else. The menu isn't very informative (or extensive) either. Still, they have a few good lunch staples for fairly low cost and I'll be back occasionally (if the door is unlocked).
Good healthy food. Reasonable prices. Usually I do the create you own pizza which is always good. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Good wholesome food and not expensive
I recently decided to grab my lunch at the patio pantry. I am not sure if I will ever return. When I walked up to order, the woman in the pizza dept. ignored me and walked off without explanation. Her counterpart then went to serve another woman who had come after me. Once she was spurred to serve me, she commenced to make my pizza with an ill-mannered demeanor, shoveling inordinate amounts of sauce and cheese onto the dough. When I asked for less, she scraped a handful of cheese off my pizza and threw in the trash. In total, my experience was unpleasant. I am of the opinion that the employees of this establishment need customer service training. I only gave one star because the pizza was edible.
