It doesn’t get better than this genuine NYC staple - instead of roaming tourists you’ll typically see satisfied neighborhood locals.
Pastrami was way too lean. Skip this place and just head to katz for the good stuff.
Great pastrami, friendly service, funky interior.
The worst pastrami we had in NYC. First it’s $26 and it was a tiny sandwich. At Katz or sarges you honestly can’t finish one by yourself. Here it’s this gross thin sliced dry pastrami on awful store bought bread. Nothing about is good. And the location … absolute dump. Don’t give this your place your business they don’t deserve it. It should be a $12 sandwich for the size and quality.
Take out. Always great to be there and order.
Tiny little place but hot-dang the food was soooooo good, if a bit pricey...but isnt everything?
Amazing pastrami sandwich. I had ordered it for delivery and it wasnt even piping hot but just warm on white bread with fried onions. It was exceptional and I would place it almost on par as the famous katz's.
