I love the concept, but the execution is way off. We tried 4 different pastas and the sauces were all below average for the Denver metro area (let alone Italian standards). The amatriciana was particularly disappointing. It tasted like the most mediocre tomato sauce with like 4 tiny pieces of guanciale. It seems their recipes are designed to maximize profit margins at the expense of serving authentic dishes that are worth the price. The pasta itself is clearly fresh and tastes good. I’d love to have authentic Roman pastas available in this format, so the sauce situation is very sad for me
Many wonderful reviews for this place, and I like the concept, so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered carbonara, which was prepared and served on the spot. I liked the pasta but hated the sauce (too sweet to my taste and soapy). The order came in a carton bowl and a plastic fork. This is ridiculous: half the eating experience comes from how the food is served. Suffice it to say, I did not enjoy it. Overall, worth a visit, but I'm not coming back to dine from paper plates.
I was looking for pizza and Pasta Press came up, I knew they didn’t serve any pizza but the pasta looked enticing and decided to give it a try to end our night. I can not tell you how DELICIOUS our food was. I ordered the Arrabiata and my wife ordered Cacio De Pepe and it was the absolute most delicious pasta we’ve ever eaten in our lives. They make everything FRESH for you, right in front of you, they are extremely friendly and incredibly nice. The food was so hot and amazing. I’m extremely happy we had this over pizza. I’ll be thinking about this pasta for a really really long time.
Gourmet food in a fast food environment, that brings italy to colorado :) 10/10 would recommend
Delicious! And the imported flour did not trigger any issues with gluten the way American flour does to me.
Amazing food! Owners are highly involved in the community!! Loved it!!!!
