This was an excellent experience. I used to go to the old one near Cosmolava/FoxTrot but hadn't been to the new one on W Peachtree. The ambiance is relaxed but vibrant and the service and food are excellent. You need to check this out!
Had the signature tortellini dish and it was delicious. The mix between meat and a apple fused into a ravioli style pasta. The service was great and very knowledgeable.
The service at this place was great compared to the rest of the area. Our waitress was kind and prompt. The food on the other hand was some of the worst food in Atlanta not just Italian- mainly the “olive oil” served with bread was not even close to being olive oil - it was very clearly grape seed or vegetable, it was not even remotely close to resembling olive oil. People who grew up eating real Italian food would be offended. The Chef and restaurant know what they were doing lying on the menu, which is truly shallow but not uncommon. Most of the food was underseasoned, bland, and overpriced. Pasta tasted not fresh and sauce had no flavor. Ravioli appetizer tasted frozen or premade. None of it tasted particularly fresh either. I would never recommend this place other than the bar.
Service was spot on, food was…good..but maybe lacking salt and garlic, in my opinion of course.
Staff was excellent in seating and waiting on our table. Calamari was very "basic" (I would expect better for an authentic Italian eatery) and both meals were bland in taste. Cute place, but hope that the food quality improves. Also, Opendoor did not mention that valet parking was available since parking is very limited in this location. Parking: They mention parking in a hotel which was not a "very very short" walk.
If you want to be done with dinner in 30 minutes after spending $100 to eat pasta dishes that are overcooked and tasteless then this is the place to go. If not, go elsewhere.
