I had the oxtails with rice and beans, cabbage and carrots as my main course. Also had the sweet vanilla tea and mango and carrot punch. Everything tasted amazing! I think this place is a gem in downtown Augusta and the atmosphere further compliments the restaurant.

Nice cozy place to enjoy a nice lunch date or dinner. Food is amazing would've taken a picture of it but the smell enticed me to eat it right away. Vegetarian options: It's only one item. Hamburger Steak & Gravy

The food was not seasoned, rice was dry & nothing Caribbean about it. Worst Caribbean food in the Aug. I will bring a plate of some real Caribbean food, so then you all will know what it is suppose to taste like. Atmosphere is great though. The food was trash.

I ordered the oxtails, red beans & rice, cabbage & carrots and the mac & cheese. The oxtails were tender and well-seasoned! Everything was served hot and fresh! The Sorrel (Ginger Punch) can be served hot or cold. I ordered both! I will definitely dine there soon!! I highly recommend Pasches!!

The location is prime and the outside setting is perfect. (Remember what I said about location) it could use a awning to keep the sun off you while ordering. The attendant at the window was extremely nice and accommodating. I ordered the curry chicken rice/beans w cabbage. When I open the plate to look at it, I knew I was in trouble, the curry chicken was brown..not yellow. The cabbage was(I hate to say this) was just boiled in h20. Which was perfect for me because I have hi blood pressure and the complete meal had not been seasoned. Beans and rice? It tasted pretty good. Being from Charlotte, I don't like spicy food, but I had to add hot sauce to the chicken, because no kick whatsoever was present. Well cooked however. On their behalf, the restaurant caters to....... them folks. The store is downtown and we all know their food is bland. But that's where the money is so I don't blame them. Forget keeping it authentic...get that money. Capitalism at it's best. Would I go again? absolutely. You just don't give up on a place because of one meal. I look forward to my next meal. Thanks Pasches Island! Kid-friendliness: Definitely not for small kids as traffic is 10ft away

Went to this restraunt and ordered two different plates of food. Unfortunately it took more than 40 minutes for my food to come out wich is excessive imo. The taste of the food was on point though. Everything tasted great to me and the best part was the flavored brown rice. The prices seemed high but looking back I think you are going to have to pay a premium for carribian food anywhere in Augusta.
