Parsley Modern Mediterranean

A handy take-out place. Fast, professional, and attentive. For $14, this was two meals worth of food for me. I ordered a “build your own” Chicken Shawarma Salad. That being said, I have had better fast-casual Mediterranean bowls. I would recommend that management add more topping options (crushed pita chips, crispy chickpeas, pickled onions etc) and/or dressings (ex. harissa, green goddess, spicy tzasiki etc) I was a bit confused by the curry option, since it doesn’t strike me as Mediterranean. But, based on this experience, I would be happy to go back and try their curry and Meze options.

Parsley is a build your own Mediterranean dish concept. They have salads, wraps, nachos, and plates. This Parsley location is "fine". I haven't visited others and after my experience I'm not sure I will. While the portions seem large, it was disappointing to learn the selection of included toppings is sparse and most of the good stuff like a scoop of hummus, or babaganoush is extra. You get one pita (which was the best part of my meal) with your meal and an additional pita is $1 per piece. With how much Parsley charges for their base meal and then charges $1 per "extra" (hummus, eggplant salad, babaganoosh, tabouli, quinoa salad, feta, kalamata olives, grape leaves or garlic tahini) I would not consider this meal a good value, especially when I can get a full plate for less at the local Greek place. I would consider revisiting if Parsley overhauls their pricing structure.

Solid food and staff were friendly! Arrived around 5:30pm, there was only one customer taking food to go. Chicken Shawerma Bowl: 4/5 generous portion and nice flavor overall. Would've been better if they put more sauce. Lentil soup: 5/5 this was delicious and filling. Only $2 so great value too!
