Best pancakes and avocado toast we’ve ever eaten. Boston Cream Pie - original - enough said
Best claim shouter in the city. I wish they would go back to serving dinner. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance. On Tremont street.
I love this place. I visited on my first trip to Boston. It is filled with photos of historical figures and is rich is history itself. Yesterday after having landed on my trip from Boise Idaho I was a bit hangry and tired. We stopped in for some delicious espresso martini’s and ended up also have a cup of their incredible clam chowder. I love the atmosphere, food and service. It’s a must visit.
The original boston cream pie is extremely tasty. I wouldn't pay $10 for a slice of it again (wouldnt do that for a slice that small of anything to be honest), but it was a great experience and I definitely don't regret trying it.
Title: Disappointing Experience at Parker House Restaurant Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Review: I recently made an 8-hour drive with high hopes to try the renowned Boston cream pie at Parker House Restaurant. Regrettably, my experience turned out to be quite underwhelming and left a lot to be desired. Upon arrival, I eagerly ordered their famous Boston cream pie, only to be met with disappointment. The pie was noticeably dry and lacked the moistness and flavor I had anticipated. It was quite a letdown considering the high expectations I had built up for this iconic dessert. Furthermore, the overall quality of the food at Parker House was subpar. The dishes I tried were bland and lacked the depth of flavor one would expect from a reputable establishment. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold, which further detracted from the dining experience. While I understand that every restaurant can have off days, I was disheartened that my long journey ended in a culinary disappointment. The lackluster experience left me feeling that the Parker House did not live up to its reputation. I do hope that the management at Parker House takes these concerns into consideration and makes improvements to ensure that future guests have a more enjoyable dining experience. As for now, I cannot recommend Parker House Restaurant based on my own experience. Despite this setback, I remain optimistic that there are still plenty of other exceptional dining options in Boston that can satiate one's culinary cravings.
Got the Bostons best hash. Was incredible. Bit pricey but what do you expect for a fancy hotel restaurant in the heart of Boston. 28 bucks after tip.
really disappointing. I stopped in for breakfast and really expected it to be top notch. The sausages were just ok, bacon was alright, potatoes were non existent, I ordered 4 eggs over easy and they were hard. $50 breakfast for one person should be excellent. Again, really disappointed.
