Paradise Dynasty (South Coast Plaza)

If you're in/visiting Costa Mesa stop by Paradise Dynasty located in the South Coast Plaza. They offer Shanghainese food along with Dim sum. Their Specialty Dynasty Xiao Long Bao is definitely the hit but our favorite out of the sampler was their signature. Their Spicy Szechuan Crispy Chicken was made properly and true to its nature there is more peppers than chicken . Also recommend their Dan Dan noodles. Rich flavor and noodles are cooked just right.

The soup dumplings are good. The skin is a little thick. The veggie fried rice has a nice texture but cannot eat it alone. Way too bland. But the ma po tofu is good very flavorful so a good pairing for the rice. Was disappointed in the spicy wontons but the dumplings soup was prob my favorite and pleasantly impressed me

Wow! the 8 flavors of Xiao Long Bao were quite the adventure! Out of the 8, our favorites were definitely the Original, Szechuan & Cheese. Highly highly recommend the unforgettable Radish Pastry, which was so flaky and flavorful, and Pan Fried Pork Bun, which was delicious and savory. One thing is that the wait time they give you at the first Check-In is unreliable… Both times we’ve eaten here, the actual wait time ended up being 1/3 the time they told us…
