Pappardella

I'm 100% Italian, and I know what pasta should taste like... No for real it was good. I had the chance to try the pasta with ragù, and the cacio e pepe. Very tasty and al dente. I also recommend the focaccia. Good selection of desserts, if I have to complain it would be about the fact they didn't have on the menu my favorite dessert torta della nonna, but everything they did have was delicious.

I stumbled across this gem on a Friday night. They were. Usy but squeezed us in. My girls and I are gluten free and the gf menu was impressive! Pasta, pizza, garlic bread, meatballs and more. Everything was so delicious, the best sauce! And incredible "giant meatball" and very tasty margaritas pizza. We over ordered because we were so hungry and unsure of pprtion sizes, and I'm glad we did because we got to bring some delicious food home for the next day. I would go back in a second! Dietary restrictions: The gluten free options were extensive, 2 full menu pages plus desert! I wish I could have tried everything.

@pappardellanyc is an institution! Everything we ordered tasted homemade and super fresh. The owner will treat you like family and the restaurant is super romantic. Superbe restaurant, très bonne nouriture, décoration sympatique, et service impecabble. On avair peur en rentrant car c’était peu rempli, mais on a bien fait !!

We stopped for dinner here before a show, none of us had heard of it so we were delightfully surprised to find it was an absolute gem. The wait staff were friendly and very helpful, the interior was beautiful, everyone inside was having a great time and happy to be there. We got a spread of things but the highlight in my opinion was the Pappardelle funghi e tartufo (mushroom ragu). The noodles were very cooked perfectly, rich but not too heavy at all. Best pasta I've had in many moons. We had to leave before we could check out their dessert which will go down as a personal tragedy because if they put as much care and quality into those as they do the rest of the menu they should not be missed. If you're looking for classy comfort Italian food look no further.

Fabulous quaint spot ! I highly recommend for celebrations, anniversary dinners or just cocktails with the girls. The Funghi divine and the drinks were well made. And the overall vibe was romantic yet strangely upbeat on that Fridsy night. Perfect lighting I believe and very happy lively customers.
