Papi’s

The bartender was very rude to me last night when I tried to order a drink. He insulted my home state, and even accused me of being an alcoholic just because of where I'm from. He may have been joking, but I found him rude and obnoxious. In a society focused on acceptance, I guess acceptance doesn't apply to everyone from every state in these United States. I will never stop at Papis again if I have to go through Atlanta to reach my final destination.

I got the yellow rice, it was not fully cooked

This place wasn’t busy at 7:30 this morning but they wouldn’t let me sit at the bar unless I ordered alcohol. The service was better next door.

Agréablement surpris, pour un restaurant d'aéroport je m'attendais pas à grand chose et c'était finalement très sympa. C'était plutôt bon et généreusement servi, à part le poulet un peu sec tout était très bien. On apprécie la sélection de bières plus ou moins artisanales et locales, par contre on apprécie un peu moins leur prix. Autant la bouffe a un rapport qualité prix correct, autant la bière à plus de 10-12$ la pinte c'est vraiment très cher pour ce que c'est. Super service aussi, les deux mecs au bar étaient super sympa et marrants avec les clients.

I want to sit at the bar, but I was welcomed with what type of cocktail you would like. I don't drink so I advised the guy water. He goes to tell me that I can't sit at the bar unless I had a cocktail on my bill. That took me back bc I'm like huh? You MAKE people purchase cocktails to sit at a bar? Wow. Once I moved, I couldn't find a clean high top table so I sat down at a dirty one until the guy came over to clean it. I purchased the jerk chicken, rice, black beans, and plantains. When was brought out, it didn't look anything like jerk chicken. More like roast beef! At first, I didn't want jt bc I wanted white rice and not yellow and of course the chicken looked like beef. As I ate the meal, I felt something weird in my mouth with the food. It was aluminum foil. Thank god I didn't swallow it, but yeah I lost my appetite and left. This experience was the first and last with them!!

The place is always understaffed and really dirty. Tables aren’t clean and floor is filthy with food everywhere. Food quality has really deteriorated over the past few years.

My friend does not like spicy food and had the Cuban sandwich. I like spicy food and had the jerk chicken bowl. Both were excellent. The best part, our waiter, Corey. He helped us make our menu choices. He was attentive with our drinks and remembered our names. Impressive!

Great people. Good food. Great energy.

we love this place. They close at 9:30. We rushed from the B terminal to get there just before nine and they close the door in our face while everyone else is eating. That kind of sucks.
