I ordered online and picked up within 20min. Got home the pizza tasted terrible like it had been cooked an hour before I ordered it. It was soaking in oil pizza sauce. Not good the next time I may try another location but this one is not good. Ughh that was a waste of money.
I’m the only one in my friend group that loves Papa John’s pizza so when my roommate and friends are out of town, I would love to get Papa Johns as they like dominos. I went in person to buy a garlic sauce for my leftovers and to make it worthwhile. I was willing to buy five of them. I got there at 7:06 the website and Google shows that they’re open till 11. They buzz me in and ask if I have an order I said no I just would like to buy some garlic dipping sauce and a guy was rather rude and said that is why the door was closed because we’re trying to leave for Christmas Eve. I totally get that not wanting to work on Christmas Eve. I worked in the food industry as well and I know people can be very rude and demanding. I felt that it wasn’t an outrageous request to buy some garlic sauce. I was willing to pay cash as he said the cash register was closed to leave and so I did, and was rather taken back by this experience, perhaps this location is not the right one for me. I never had bad food from this location but the attitude rubs me the wrong way.
I have used this as my pizza backup plan twice in the last two weeks when what used to be my go to was consistently out of hand tossed pizza dough. I don’t yet understand how a pizza store can ever allow that to happen. Papa John’s is now my go to.
