Panther City BBQ

This is my second time here. I order pork ribs, pork belly jalapeño poppers, and baked potatoes with pull pork. Yes, pork pork pork! I give 5 stars in overall because I still think that the menu is very interesting, good service at BBQ joint experience. I love that many manus had the name after employees, this shows the owner’s appreciation to their employees. However as for the food itself, I gave 4 stars to it (won’t effect overall stars). I think the flavor of pork, but ribs and pull pork has lot the flavor when going down the deeper level of meat. While eating, it felt like the flavor was washed off or something. I think the pork might have lost moisture or the cook temperature was a bit too hot. Overall, it was at good+ level (not great but better than average BbQ). However, I know you guys try very hard, I will keep supporting you!

Does it really takes 30 minutes to make a dry, flavorless barbecue sandwich?

We are in town for a bbq trip and stopped here right off the plane. The bbq was better than anything back home but did fall short of most of our places in flavor. The sauce was good and the atmosphere was great. We ate on the patio. Lisa was the shining star of service, she was a great asset and even got me a look at the pits. The best thing we had was the elote and is a must if you visit.

Excellent BBQ joint. I could eat here daily. It was a bit expensive, but unfortunately, I smoked meats usually are.

I was in Fort Worth for a barbecue seminar being put on by Matt Pittman from Meat Church Thursday night. I went to the Meat church facility in Waxahachie to buy some merch around noon. I asked the old gentleman in the store where I should go to get some really good barbecue. He directed me to Panther city barbecue as one of the best barbecue joints around Fort Worth. He called it very nicely. Later that evening when I met Matt Pittman, he also pointed out Panther city as one of the best barbecue joints in Texas. It was excellent. Great experience. Great atmosphere. Food was amazing. I wish I had more belly space so they could roll out in a wheelbarrow.

I haven’t cleaned my plate in a while……until I got that pulled pork sandwich potato salad and butter butter pudding.
