The chipotle, chicken, avocado melt, has been my favorite sandwich for years. However they changed the recipe. And dose not use Gouda any more. Now they use white cheddar. This sandwich went from being a 5 star to a 1-2 star. They also don’t put as much chicken on it or avocado on it anymore. Also I don’t think they use the Pepper do peppers either any more. Really disappointed guys!
Clean, quiet (even at lunch rush, it was steady, but not chaos) very nice, tranquil, food was fresh and tasty, and staff was incredibly friendly. Will definitely return! Parking: You can pay to park on the street with the meters, and there are Ellis parking lots/ramps close by (like, within a block or two) but it can be a bit of a pain if you are in a hurry, or the weather is lousy...
Location: 99 Monroe NW. Located from the Skywalk. Very convenient. At 5pm there wasn't anyone taking orders at the counter; for almost 15 mins. Very odd. Wrkr was reluctant to add extra croutons to bowl of soup. Another wrkr said there wasn't any wi-fi service. She didn't say she didn't know. She said there wasn't. Odd. Another customer assured me there was. He was rite. There is combination lock on restrooms. Employees didn't tell abt it. Again, another customer told me. At 5pm, the store wasn't very busy. Surprisingly nearly empty. Maybe not having someone to take food orders is common here? The food & beverages were good. Wi-fi service excellent.
The hiring team here needs to get it's act together. No way any grown person should conceivably walk away from an interview process with the sincerely held belief they had an offer and start date in hand just to find out none of that was the case on their "first" day. I've been hiring people my entire adult life and I've never once had someone just "show up" thinking they had the job. Communication. Crystal clear communication.
Kind and helpful staff. Food delish and made correctly. Chicken and rice soup, chicken mozzarella melt. Gotta ask staff for bathroom codes. Security guard rounds in the restaurant (I assume it's the connected hotel's security).
Service is fast and friendly. The line can sometimes get long during lunch rush hour. I’d highly recommend ordering online and pick up if you’re short on time. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, but a bit hectic right in the middle where everyone is waiting for their food to come out and pick up at the counter. The variety of options mostly includes sandwiches, soups, and a couple bakery options; like bagels and cookies. Price point on average for a person to eat here would be around $15. Which would include half a sandwich and a medium drink. Parking: Parking will have to be either paid street, lots, or garages. There’s no free parking space dedicated to Panera.
