Panera Bread

Everyone working there seems like they are miserable. The lady handing out to-go orders looked at me like I was crazy when I told her my name. The two take-out spots were taken by dine-in customers, so I had to park way down the street to grab my order. Food was cold and tasted way worse than it did last time I had Panera (2-3 years). Sad to see a once decent restaurant turn terrible. Won’t be back.

The team members were very friendly. The greeting was received when I entered the restaurant. The lead or manager was helping the customers waiting at the pick-up area. The restaurant interior was clean in general. But the table was a bit sticky; the team members did not wipe the table after the customers finished their food. The beverage station had the stain of the beverage. The restroom looked clean. Parking: The business was not quite busy at this plaza; there was enough parking space shared with the customers.

I met one of the managers, Karim, today. Such a gentleman and let me talk about my feelings regarding the restaurant. I had noticed the bagels are not the same as normal. They are now softer with a texture more like an English muffin. He agreed, and, said the recipe had, indeed, changed to a healthier version. They are still tasty, just different. Ambiance was nice on a rainy day. Music eclectic and not too loud. Maybe a bit lower would be nice. LOL! Decaf and Hazelnut are my coffee choices and the cinnamon crunch bagel with plain cream cheese. Mmmmm. I belong to the monthly drink club which saves me some money. Yay! Love Panera Bread and see this one moving in a positive direction.

Busy but fast great service

Positive: I love Panera Bread's bagels, especially cinnamon crunch. And they have decaf and 3 regular selections and a bottomless cuppa. Enough small tables with booths, too. Negative: The staff is generally rude, cold at best, except for the gentleman who works weekdays getting orders out, cleaning tables. He is a breath of fresh air! Pay him more! Friendly staff is here and gone in a few months. Get some help on Saturday morning, please! The coffees and creamers are out oftentimes and no friendly welcome. I do HATE Panera on Saturdays and will NEVER return on Saturday again after rudeness this morning. Panera evidently NEVER reads reviews as I've been writing reviews for approximately 10 years and never received a response. I believe they make their money on carry-outs, sure not inside because of rudeness.

Tony the Manager absolutely made our night. My wife and I stopped by for dinner and we had an issue with our gift card. Tony was empathetic, kind and generous. It really was the personal care that made our food not only great tasting but memorable. Thank you Tony!

I’ve been coming to this location for 10+ years and have always had wonderful, prompt, friendly service throughout all the staffing and management changes. Unfortunately, over the last few months, that has not been my experience. Staff are inattentive, and act as though my presence is an inconvenience, if I’m acknowledged at all. No smiling faces, no friendly rapport, and very poor communication skills, specifically from the manager, which is really unfortunate since the manager sets the tone for the rest of the staff. I hope the manager can learn that in the food service industry, over-communication is the best communication. Also, I’ve noticed lots of inconsistency with the pastries. The bagels are often overcooked and oddly shaped.
