I barely went to Panera since they changed the menu and upgraded the price recently. Today I went there get a you pick 2 and got a sandwich small as my side bread. I am truly disappointed since it’s over $7!

A few days ago I waited in line for someone to take my order and there was a girl staring at me gossiping with other coworkers and this went on for about five minutes until I had to go up to a young man and ask if I could order. He was very nice and helpful telling me my rewards he had glasses ! I want to give him recognition because he was cleaning and providing me nice service. However once I got my food it was pathetic I paid so much just to get less portions. I’ve worked in customer service and food so I tried to be understanding but this was just awful. do better training or discipline your staff on limiting their gossip because even customers can hear from a far. The staff gossiping we’re preparing my food and I think the nonsense happening led to my food to be not satisfying and not fairly proportioned. Overall I had a bad experience with the quality of the food and service.
We visit Panera infrequently due to the increase in prices and decrease in portion. This visit on 12/12/23 was no exception. The food tasted good, but I cannot justify the price for the quantity or quality. I spent around $32 feeding two people a salad/sandwich combo with drinks. I took a star off because of the quantity of food, there were several tables dirty with trash and food on the table top and booth seats, and the price point is just too high. This restaurant will remain a once or twice a year visit.
Order a couple of items they forgot to put all the sides in the bag. I called the store... Took a couple of tries before anyone answered. Manager said she was going to send me a voucher via email. Still waiting for it.
