Let's be honest, it's Panda Express on the ave. I don't know if the expectation is 5-star, but it shouldn't be, so I wanna balance out some of the negative reviews with a more reality-based experience. This review is mostly to show support and thanks to KINGGS who is always so pleasant. I noticed a lot of reviews about the attitude and service of staff. I'm fortunate enough to have only had KINGGS's service each of three times I've been in here. KINGGS is always pleasant, professional, friendly and efficient (so my last visit, I made sure to take note of the name tag for this review). So, I have no complaints on service. Cashiers can be a bit dry but they're not rude (or at least haven't been in my experience). Now, one of the times, my rice reeked of AND tasted like dirty dishwater/rag. Obviously, that time my whole plate ended up in the trash. So while I don't expect a Michelin meal, I do hate wasting food for fear of some type of cleanly/health hazard. Overall it seems the food is questionable on rare occasions, but it's fast food and that's always the case so I have no problem returning for that last minute meal when necessary.

Management is very careless and they have open prejudice 3rd party employees! On Tuesday February 27th, 2024 at approximately 3pm my daughter and 3 of her friends entered the Panda Express located on Jamaica Ave in Queens NY. Only one of the young ladies was actually ordering food out of the restaurant, my daughter and the other 2 young ladies sat and proceeded to eat their food from wing stop waiting on their friend to order. The security guard told them they couldn’t eat outside food inside the restaurant because of the mess. They told him that they will throw their garbage away outside then he asked them to leave because two out of four of them were not ordering. As they were all walking out the guard yelled out “These Americans don’t know nothing”. This was very prejudice, discriminatory and rude! My daughter left and called me and told me what was said so I immediately went to the restaurant to get the necessary information to make my complaint. The restaurant manager said he didn’t say it and she has cameras to prove it! Basically calling my daughter a liar and this man with no responsibility or accountability for his actions.

Their food is good, but their customer service is awful. I placed a mobile order on December 20th, 2023 and waited for my food for 30 minutes. No apologies or anything. When I first arrived, 5 minutes after placing my mobile order, they said they didn't receive my order so they were waiting for it to come in. I already thought it was weird because 5 minutes is plenty of time for a mobile order to come in, but hey, what do I know? I took a seat and continued to wait and after about 10 minutes someone asked for my name again and looked in their system and was like, "let's wait for it to come in" as if that wasn't what I was already doing. Then, they ignored me for about another 15 minutes as I sat directly in front of their register. They just continued to help other customers that were walking in and just pretended like I didn't exist until a new employee walked in and asked me what I was waiting for and searched for my order again in their system, couldn't find it, and then proceeded to open their printing component to dislodge a paper jam. Finally, my order printed out. So the other employees there didn't know that a paper jam could have been the cause of the problem and just didn't bother helping or asking anyone who might have known the issue? Who knows how long I would've been waiting there. Then, after printing out my order they ignored me again and began helping the people who had JUST ARRIVED to the restaurant. I had to wait another 5 minutes before they actually packed my order. And finally, I asked for Chilli Sauce too and they didn't give me any :)

i waited 15 mins Arisa is a manager she was very nasty she say if you don't like to wait you can leave . that was very disrespectful and rude ! just because u wanted fresh food . i had to wait 15 mins vet upsetting

They never add teriyaki sauce or drinks I paid for, I left some notes in "special request" to add sauces and regular coke, they do not add the drink or last time I got "Diet coke" just because. This is my third time and it keeps happening the same.

There’s nothing wrong with the actual food, but the workers keep messing up. The first time I went they almost forgot my appetizer and drink (I had to check and remind them), and today my order was so messed up that I’m genuinely upset. No fountain drinks so I settled for a smaller bottled drink, wrong size appetizer (a $6 difference between sizes!!!) and a wrong entree with the saddest portions of sides. On top of that they tied the bag in such a way that I couldn’t open it and check. I hate being a “Karen”, but when I’m paying almost $30 per order I’d like to at least get what I paid for without having to constantly check if my order is right. It wouldn’t hurt the workers to pay a little more attention to the order labels, or at least be honest about the wait times and what’s available.
