Just went a couple days ago and bought tortillas and all the packages are like this. Are you guys selling rotten tortillas? I hope this are not the tortillas you are making those tacos with! It’s not the first time this happens and every time I call they say that the tortilla don’t have a expired date.

Between looking at all of the various foods in the grocery store and dishes available on the restaurant menu, I was truly happy and glad that their business is steady and their professional attitude toward "green horns" and locals are sincere and kind. Authentic foods from various parts of the world (alphabetical order): Cuba, Mexico, Saint Domingo, South America. Ample seating. Beautiful wooden long benches. Some with padded seats and some sealed as they are. This feeling has been with me since I've been there..."I've felt and feel totally at home in their establishment". Bright and vibrant art covers the walls of the restaurant. Those images teleported me back to the SouthWest...Tucson, AZ and Nogales, Mexico. Everything is paid at the front register. The area behind the cash register reminded me of a mini-botanica. Some people may get overwhelmed when they first arrive because there are two glass doors into the establishment and two wooden doors placed in different areas that can take you directly into the grocery or into the front area of the grocery as you make your way to the restaurant. Some employees are bilingual. I didn't let that stop me from wanting to eat there; as there are only a few phrases that I know in Spanish. I am grateful that they opened a business in Bloomington, IN. On the menu, I saw "Trepas"! Wow! In my mind, you can eat some people's Trepas and others you pass. Just like learning that I can eat some people's chitterlings and others I pass. Someone will need to try them and see if they like them! The three different types of salsa were an eye opener for me. The red one with herbs and spices in a dish is usually served. You can ask for the other two types of sauces/salsas. The "green-colored" one is made from Tomatillos, which are usually tame when I've had them. However, this salsa has a creamy texture and is more hot and spicy than the red herbal salsa. The other salsa/sauce in a red squeeze container is very very hot and spicy. I passed on trying that one! I went back the next week to purchase breads, pastries, and donuts made differently. Their donuts are like a mixture of yeast and cake and "specially created". Totally wonderful the next day. They can probably be frozen and warmed in a low temperature oven without a foil covering on top. It was wonderful to see a fresh delivery of Chiquita Plantains in one aisle. I can think of one man who is probably fluent in Spanish and he would be able to talk easily with employees. I don't know what kinds of food that he and his wife like to eat. Still, I'm going to mention "La Bonita" to him. There was a wonderfully spicy hot green Chile pepper grilled and placed on my plate of Carne Asada. The pepper reminded me of the Chile relleno dishes of Tucson, AZ restaurants. I sincerely hope that their business continues to thrive in this town.

Great lengua tacos. Get the spicy salsa for them, you won't be disappointed.
