No service dogs allowed inside and bartender refuses to come outside to get an order. Must come with a group or no service

Crazy rude bartender (middle aged man about 5'6", named Josh or something). Never coming back. Shame, I used to like it here ... RESPONSE FROM OWNER: I'm so sorry this happened. If possible, could you send me further details so that I can address this & take action? I hope you'll consider giving us another chance to be nice. We certainly pride ourselves on being your FRIENDLY favorite neighborhood bar & an attitude is unacceptable. MY RESPONSE TO OWNER: Sorry I am not sure how to write a response, so I am writing it here. First of all, thank you for your response, I believe you care about your clientele. I do really enjoy your bar, and before my recent bad experience I would have called it my favorite bar in New Orleans. I am going to be a bit vague on purpose- the bartender I mentioned followed me outside to curse at me and my boyfriend, and it made me very uncomfortable. However, if you want to follow up I can be more specific, but not in a public forum. I asked the bartender an innocuous question and he spoke with me in a very aggressive manner. My boyfriend told him that he was acting inappropriately and he began to shout so we left the bar. We were waiting for an uber, and he walked outside and got into a car with a customer from the bar for approximately 5-10 minutes. After he exited the car he approached us and started yelling again. He was sort of like sniffling quite a bit, and kind of slurring his words, which led me to call into question his visit to the car. Anyways, we ran off into the uber while he shouted from the sidewalk. I will come back to Pal's because of your thoughtful response. But I wont come back if he is bartending. I don't want to mess with his life or livelihood, but, if you like, consider telling him to be a bit more polite with customers. I was being diplomatic in my description of his behavior, but it was very inappropriate. Anyways, thank you again, and I hope you have a great day!

This is the most welcomimg fabulous bar in all the land. 10/10 would move in.

If you’re here and Charlie is working, YOURE GOING TO BE TAKEN CARE OF. She’s the best and has phenomenal customer service. I came in 1 time while she was working, the next time I walked in, she remembered me by name and made my drink order. Best bar in mid-city
