The nurungji rice cakes were pan fried and coated in a garlic sauce that i absolutely loooved. Perfect starter! the galbi fried rice w braised beef & fish roe was so savory and slightly spicy as well! The black bean noodles were surprisingly sooo delicious as well, chewy and flavorful, filled w seafood, the korean army stew was a little bit too fusion-y for my taste, but the soup reminded me of home.

Unquestionably delicious food! 3 of us cleared 7 dishes. The dishes are tapas size. I loved being able to try so many things! It ended up being $40 pp or so with no drinks. They give some tomato and radish as side dishes. We all agreed jjajangmyun was the all-around favorite! Juicy noodles and flavorful sauce! My personal subsequent favorites (in order) were the nurungji rice cakes (garlicky, crispy, carby), crab egg, 88 chicken (sweet spicy crunchy), waffle potato pancake, hamachi crudo, and baby octopus/pork. The octopus dish is not bad at all! It just wasn’t something I prefer- my friend loved it so if that’s your style - get it! I will say the hamachi in theory was good but you know you’re not getting the finest cut so it was a little grainy and thick in my opinion. Maybe a little more citrus. But all around a great spot to hangout with some tasty food! We came with no reservations around 7 on a Wednesday. There were a few empty tables when we were there but by 8 it was full!

great service, hit-or-miss food. really loved the bossam, budae jjigae, and bulgogi, but wasn't really a fan of anything else, esp the seafood stew (kinda bland). the pickled tomato banchan was super interesting though, never had that before. expect to spend at least $40 (excluding drinks) since the portions aren't that big.

The SPICY SEAFOOD NOODLE SOUP in the lunch menu is so addictive that I have been eating this for two weeks! The meats are incredibly delicious and there’s so many seafood in it: shrimps, mussels, clams and octopus! The broth is just amazingly flavorful!
