While the food is great and whoever works in the kitchen (Mexican, Cubans ...?) know what they do, this is a bit too pretentious for me and the artificial nice girls at bar and reception are more interested in pushing more food and drinks onto you than anything else. Of course, for this ambiance you pay a price and a well made Cuban sandwich cost double of what you get a simple family restaurant that may taste better.

From beginning to end I had a horrible experience with the staff here. I wanted to go here for my birthday and had a large party. On the phone the woman I spoke to was rude and nasty to me due to the size of the group. When I arrived she singled me out within my group and was again rude and nasty. I understand I had a large party, but that is no reason to be disrespectful and bite someone’s head off. I was very upset and had to walk away from my own gathering to calm down after being spoken to in such a rude and degrading way. Horrible service and horrible staff.

This is one of my top 10 restaurants in Portland. Highly recommend. The drinks were perfect and adorable the food was so good. Loved the decor. Service was top notch. I had the Cuban fried rice.

I’ve had brunch and dinner here. The food is FANTASTIC. The service can be a little less than friendly and slow at times, but nothing outrageous. The ambiance is quite loud especially for a brunch crowd. The music makes it hard to have a conversation. Overall, the food is so good it makes everything else worthwhile.

Great food and drinks. A bit overpriced

This place gets a 5 all across the board! Food was incredible and lots of options I've never before tried. Ordered the porkchop which is BBQ-ed and takes a little bit of extra time but it was so worth it. Our appetizers were both again unique and flavourful and if i had to make a suggestion i would definitely order the beets with with guacamole puree and goat cheese, Excellent pairing of ingredients. Drinks were strong and perfect, highly recommend the hot buttered rum. A gratuity of 20% is already added to each bill at the end so just a heads up.

I have been to a lot of places and the is one of the best places in Portland. the food is great. the drinks are the best and the customer service is. 100%
