Paloma Coffee & Bakery, Greenpoint

I asked to use the bathroom, because the great coffee will definitely make you want to go, and was told to “go to the starbucks up the street”. Really? What is the point of supporting your local coffee shop and tipping on a coffee only for them to tell you to see a corporate coffee chain for decent customer service?? No bathrooms for customers and just subpar customer service. Take it from them and “go to the starbucks up the street”.

They never miss Dietary restrictions: No vegan pastries

Amazing coffee and the pastries are incredible! Highly recommended. The people working are super kind too! Steve and Gael were super professional and took good care of us! They were knowledgeable on their pastries and they really knew their coffee! Enjoy ☕!

People were nice but mediocre flat white

Extra $1 for "light ice"??? I ordered an iced coffee and I asked for less ice. The barista wanted to charge me $1 for it. I'm like WHY? I wasn't asking for more coffee... The barista was so nasty and said "well I don't make the rules!". Yikes! This is the problem with some businesses in Greenpoint. They act very greedy to to just charge you any way they want because they think you live in such a "cool" neighborhood. Businesses like this make this neighborhood actually uncool. Such a pity.
