It's a good place to go and relax with friends while enjoying live music
Great vibe, live music! Love their cocktails and risotto which is vegetarian. It is so hard to find vegetarian risotto.
Pairings is the perfect Sunday afternoon meet up spot. Their great selections of wines, menu with a little bit for everyone, and staff who live to please their guests make it the gem of main st.
Fun wine bar in Pleasanton! It was trivia night, so we played trivia but loved it. Great wine!
Risotto, salad, and flatbread were good. Entree salmon dish with mashed potatoes wasn't palatable. Dish sat in the middle of the table clearly indicating it wasn’t being eaten yet neither the waitress nor the matradee inquired. Wines were ok but not what might expected by the name or price.
Fun place for a casual lunch. Inside or outside. The chicken sandwich was tasty. The baked brie made a great starter.
We had a special anniversary reservation and were excited to try the place. When we arrived, a lady at our table (having been asked to vacate) was having a rant about being seated ten mins late. She was very rude to staff, but as we weren't seated til five mins late, and then we weren't given menus for ten minutes we could sort of understand her sentiment. We asked a (very helpful) member of staff about one of the plates, and then ordered as he was there and we were aware our slot was ticking on. The food and wines were lovely, really well paired. It made us laugh that the chorizo was paired with the same wine as the vegan cheese but like magic it went very well with both. You can't have a vegetarian cheese with the vegan plate and they don't do a vegetarian plate but the vegan cheese was actually very good. We ordered a sparkling flight and the deserts with wine and they took so long we were asked to move to a really tight seat at the bar. Still 4* as the food, wine and experience is clearly amazing and the staff when you can catch them are really knowledgeable. However, the service is wonky as people who arrived after us were seated, given menus and served a lot faster than us so could enjoy their whole meal without being moved. The restaurant is also small and therefore loud, a woman with a very squally voice literally monologued for their whole slot which overlapped ours. There was a small break when a saint of a woman asked her to quieten down but for the whole of the rest of the meal we could clearly hear her reviews of airfryers and charity auctions. It was a shame that staff didn't intervene as she was clearly disturbing other customers. It seems like it's maybe slightly more popular than they can handle, but understandably so as while it was a bit stressful it was a great experience. Vegetarian options: Clearly catering towards the more trendy vegan market but there is solid vegetarian options still.
It's always a great time. We drive from Modesto to meet friends here.
