I’ve been here about 3 times. The food is excellent, and includes plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. I’m a big fan of the Thai tea Vegetarian options: Several options are vegetarian or can be made vegetarian
I don't know what the hype is, except, of course, they have catered to a professional athlete who probably still need to go around and check the city. I don't see anything special except the price is just a bit higher than some specialty thai restaurant that I've been. To be fair, it's Toronto. Everything is expensive in Toronto. To sum it up, ....been there, tried their food, mmmmh .... nothing stands out for me. I'm Asian, so I guess I can have a say if it is worth the buzz. And sorry... it's not.
Lots of seating space, we were served right after seating and food arrived fast. Ordered oxtail (sweet sauce with no veggie) and the green curry in coconut. They were good but missing that Thai creaminess of green curry and spiciness that I know. Sausage appetizer was okayish. Their Tomyum would be the best/closest to what I remember having same taste as in Bangkok restaurants. We did not get Pad Thai but it looked good seeing from next table’s order. Overall a nice place to check out!
Foods are great I like the ambiance. Services are hard to get attention sometimes as they are very busy. The prices are worth the foods. Each selections are mostly for 1 but the platter is huge. Do very well for 2 or more. Cocktails selection is good. I always order Thai iced tea here. Line can be very long during busy hours. Well try to avoid busy hours as possible.
