As if i didnt already love my favorite resturant and take out, Padmanadi, they are giving out free meals to clients of the Bissel Center now when the weather is -50 snd the Rotten City of Edmonton City Council and the Province has cruelly closed the homeless camps. What a wonderful thing to do Padmanadi and so unexpected in this nasty city where our government plans to kill the homeless this winter. BRAVO Padmandi! I LOVE YOUR EXAMPLE! HERE IS MY ORIGINSL REVIEW. GO THERE! I WILL BE OVER FOR LUNCH TOMORROW. Don't eat the brownies unless you want to bulk up and if you ask nicely they will spice up your dish with some hot Thai chillies. I love the Nasigoring (sorry I can't spell) and Shanghi Noodles and my friend who is allergic to everything likes the jasmine rice and teriyaki chicken which is chicken looking but made with tofu. None of their dishes have garlic which is why my friend can eat their food. I do miss the garlic but not if they will spice up my dish with hot . The staff and owners are lovely and this is my favorite vegan take out in Edmonton. Very clean and you can see the full kitchen and the bathrooms. I highly recommend it. The prices are quite reasonable when you compare it to garbage food like KFC and a SAD meal at MickyDs. Call them for pick up 10-15 minutes before you get there. Can't be beat. Who needs garlic anyway? I get enough of that at home to last me. Congratulations Padmanadi. Your sit down fancy spot on the north end is lovely, too, but I prefer the convenience of the south side location. If you really want your taste buds blown off, go to the north side and have some spicy green beans which are not on the south side location. NOTHING BETTER IN DeadMANton the veggies! And the love for our least fortunate citizens. ❤️ ❣️ ❤️ ❣️ ❤️ Vegetarian options: Try the Nasigoring or Singapore noodles or on the Northside the green beans and ask for it as hot as you like. Nothing has any garlic in it. They will accommodate your requests to delete ingredients. And the coffee and chocolate brownies are superb. Thank you staff and owners of Padmani. You make it enjoyable for me to eat out and not feel like I am licking a dumpster. Dietary restrictions: They will be very accommodating Parking: I have never had problem parking at either location Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome Wheelchair accessibility: The bathroom is accessible and clean and the parking is free. Staff will help you if you have any special needs. Ask for what ever you need or call if you need something special.
Ways a pleasure to eat here portion sizes are excellent flavor quality I have not been disappointed with the food. Best place for vegan eatery in Edmonton.
The Tao chicken is great - never thought I could enjoy vegetables this much (sauce they use tastes amazing). My only minor nitpick is it would've been nice to have some photos for the online menu. Also I was a little confused what the difference between individual and entree portions is (couldn't tell if entree comes with rice or if that has to be added separately).
Best chocolate desserts in the city.
I really love this place and ate many times until a month ago the food is always over the top excellent and the service I received long black hair in my food. they should be wearing hair nets on long hair I haven't been back since to this location
Definitely our fave vegan place in Edmonton.
Staff were friendly, plant based menu was robust and worth every penny. If you like good vibes go to this place. Thanks Amos.
