Paderia Bakehouse

Paderia in Fountain Valley was a surprise to find, as I was looking for a new coffee spot to try in the area. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered Malasadas almost as fresh and tasty as those I go back to Maui for again and again. The banana pudding and Portugese Egg Tart are also a must-try along with any of their coffee items. I ordered the Mazapan iced coffee, and it was smooth and flavorful, but most importantly, not overly sweet. I will come back to try other menu items that struck my interest. The staff is friendly and makes your order feel special!

I got a box of egg tarts and the horchada coffee as gifts for LNY The egg tarts are Witch Crafts!!! Even I left them out them next day, how could they still be crunchy and tasty like the day before??? The horchada coffee is a bit on the sweet side but is still delicious Now I have to go get those egg tarts for myself again...

We need better business hours

Update. I’ve been back twice after my first visit and it’s been disappointing. The malasadas tasted doughy and the fillings seem off. I hoped that the second time was just a one off, but their malasadas seem to have gone down hill.

The triple chocolate cookie is The best cookie I ever tasted!

Their Portuguese egg tarts are a must to try. They have one flavor so it makes it a lot easier to choose; instead of having multiple different flavors.
