Padadak Korean Chicken

Awesome Korean chicken wings and stuff. Since this was the first we tried different flavors and none disappointed. Recommended.

Sad to say I was very disappointed with the changes they made , they changed the menu so they didn't have what me and my bf always got, it wasn't the same anymore it was a totally different menu. definitely will not be coming back.

FIRST THINGS FIRST I GOT A TOGO YESTERDAY AND TO BE HONEST IT HAS BEEN A MINUTE SINCE I HAVE ATE AT PADADAK. OBVIOUSLY PRICE INCREASED AND I BOUGHT THE 24 PIECE WINGS ORIGINAL WITH CAJUN FRIES AND JAPCHAE NOODLES. WINGS HAD NO FLAVOR I ASKED FOR TWO SAUCE WHICH USED TO BE SO GOOD. NOW IT JUST TASTE REALLY SWEET AND IT'S NOT EVEN SPICY. IT USED TO BE SWEET AND HAD A KICK TO IT BUT IT'S JUST SWEET. THE ONLY THING I GIVE A 5 STAR ON IS THE CRISPINESS OF THE WINGS. THE JAPACHAE NOODLES WERE EH.. OKAY IT FELT LIKE IT WAS MISSING SOMETHING. SERVICE WAS OKAY. IT TOOK THEM FOREVER TO COOK MY CAJUN FRIES. FOR THE PRICE THAT I PAID FOR I COULD HAVE GOT SOMETHING BETTER TO EAT THAT NIGHT. TOTAL PRICE WAS $69.92 AND IT IS TOTALLY NOT WORTH OF COMING BACK. I GUESS I WILL FIND ANOTHER KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN JOINT.

I was so excited to introduce my boyfriend to this spot as my first time was great! Sadly this time was rushed, they put us out 30 mins before closing when our order arrived and we had to go back to ask for the sauces we ordered. More hospitality would have been nice

We used to love going to this restaurant because the food was so good and they gave you a great amount for The price (even though it wasn’t cheap)!Now coming back to this place after not visiting for a while I didn’t notice that the menu had changed( I ordered online )I did notice that the interior was different when I went to pick up. When I got home I noticed that I didn’t have rice or coleslaw like they usually did and was a little upset that it was only 3 pieces of chicken and a handful of fries for $16!!!! For that price and low amount of food I could have gotten something else!!not to mention my food wasn’t ready when I got there and I had ordered ahead of time!!!I decided to look it up and read that they changed ownership and the menu is completely different!! I don’t think I’ll be going back to this place for the price and changes.

Disappointed because we really like the food at Clairemont mesa location...too bad it shut down. The chicken sauces (both spicy and the soy garlic) at this San Marcos location are too sweet and teokbokki is not cooked well and felt like eating plastic. Please improve on quality and we will return.

Changed from a 5 to a 2. I’m so sad to write this review as padadak WAS my favorite restaurant in the San Diego area. Recently they have completely changed everything about their menu. The combos are now completely different chicken and have no rice or coleslaw! It’s sooo expensive for the downgrade in taste. The worst part is they completely changed their soy garlic sauce. I used to savor the stuff and put it on everything! It was literally my favorite sauce in chicken history. Now their menu is bigger but their flavors are much worse. I’m so sad. Pls bring back the og sauce :”)
