At this restaurant, ingredients are hidden in the back, preventing you from checking their freshness before serving. Coupled with high prices and repeated order mistakes, this setup was disappointing.

I don't know much about poke but all I can say is I really enjoyed my food and they gave very memorable service that made me feel special and interested in coming back before even tasting the food. Amber gave me her time and recommendations to help me choose my build-your-own poke bowl and it came out wonderful. The spam musubi was quite good too, I liked the sweet and salty sauce on it. I'm looking forward to returning to get the Bahn Mi dog. All the food options look so appetizing and I understand why they have such great reviews here.

I took a chance and it paid off. Super friendly and helpful people. The bowl was different from other bowls I’ve had being the ingredients were finely chopped, but it was a really delicious bowl. I definitely want to return in the near future.

I searched Bahn Mi on Google maps and this place came up. They don’t have Bahn mi sandwiches, just hot dogs which I decided was fine because I’ve never had one. I dined in. I had a Bahn mi hotdog, spam masubi, and a boba tea. The service was great but unfortunately I’m just not the target audience for the food. It didn’t satisfy my craving and the masubi was giving gas station snack. I paid $19 with tip and ultimately wished I had gone somewhere else instead. That being said, the bubble tea was good and the service was top tier. They were ready and able to answer questions about the menu and just gave off overall good vibes.

This is my favorite poke place in Tampa/St Pete. The ingredients are always delicious and the staff is very helpful and kind - especially at the South Tampa location.
