Really great cafe! I've lived in the neighborhood for 20 years, and have seen several unsuccessful attempts to establish an eatery at this location. Pacific Coast has made the best effort to offer a down home meal, but with surprisingly varied ingredients, that aren't in your face, but subtle. I'd recommend the country burrito, and veggie burger. The fresh tortilla chips, salads, and desserts rock too! Finally, the staff is exceptionally charming, and will accommodate most requests. And 5 stars for cleanliness, menu graphics and atmosphere. Total hidden gem in East Ventura Vegetarian options: Totally fine! Nothing greasy or full of unnecessary dairy. Very fresh veggies.
I LOVED this place. Came for a burger, ended up ordering the enchiladas I'll be back, though. The enchiladas nortenas were soooooo good. Didn't eat the rice and beans bc of dietary restrictions, but I loved that they had side salads as well, so we could eat them before the enchiladas. And then we had to try the tiramisu, even though we shouldn't have. I just about died, it was so good. And they were so kind, too. The wait was a little long, but everything tasted homemade, so that's probably why. Will definitely be back in the near future
This place deserves more customers! Everything is excellent: food, service, atmosphere. These people love their work, business, and customers.
This place has a lot of options. I had the Tri tip sandwich ( little kick), bread was fresh and made here.
This place has really good food! Everything is tasty. I would recommend!
We tried this place because of the great reviews on Google and we were not disappointed. We did not expect such an eclectic menu and ended up ordering the Joe's burger and some Pozole. The burger with the house made bun was fantastic and the Pozole was enormous (enough for three meals). There was only one other customer in the restaurant but since it appeared that one of the family owners was the only one working it took a bit long to get served. I can imagine that if you arrive at the wrong time it could be a long wait to get food. With that said, we really enjoyed our food and will definitely be coming back.
First time and last time. I walked in and couldn't decide what I wanted, so I was reading over the menu and there were 3 TVs all broadcasting and blaring hate news stations, bashing conservatives. I was polite and ordered a Pepsi since my wife used the restroom. I told the cashier that's all I wanted since I didn't care for the TVs, her simple answer of OK, pretty much said that my conservative dollars weren't welcome. I took my business elsewhere.
Big menu. Been ordering different things each time I go. All are good. Parking: Parking is behind and to the side of the cafe
