Mexican food at its finest. Outstanding service. Flank steak tacos were amazing and don't miss the masa pancakes for brunch. I can't remember the last time I ordered pancakes but these were truly special.
The host will *not* seat you until you share your name and phone number, to be sold to Resy, who will build a profile about when and where you spend your time with your loved ones, and then sell that information to advertisers and political activists. SAY NO TO RESTAURANTS THAT REQUIRE YOUR PERSONAL DATA. There is absolutely ZERO reason that a restaurant needs your information. This is a problem for all of us.
Probably my favorite spot for Mexican food in the city. Everything is delicious but the vegetarian tacos (Sunchoke recently was to die for), the salads, guacamole and margaritas stand out as things I crave. Finally went for brunch after many times for dinner, and the corn masa pancake was amazing! And the service is always warm and friendly - John took great care of us! PS my favorite restaurant bathroom Vegetarian options: Guacamole, beet chorizo tacos, red peanuts, Caesar salad
Mouthwateringly delicious food, great cocktails, and a very cute interior.
Literally the BEST mexican restaurant in NYC. I have been here twice and everything i have ordered is absolutely incredible…the whole dining experience from cocktails to desserts. HUGE SHOUTOUT to Giselda, the manager.she is incredibly kind and polite. The service here is just as amazing as the food. I highly recommend everyone to try it. Also shoutout to DARWIN! Great waiter and wonderful positive attitude.
My wife and I went for our 10-year anniversary dinner. While the food was pretty good, service was definitely a bit lacking. To start with, my wife ordered the tuna tartare while I ordered the Berkshire pork chop. They told me that since they would take different times to prepare, hers would come out sooner than mine. However, normally when you are serving people at a table, he want to serve them at the same time. So maybe do the tuna when the Berkshire pork is almost done. Instead, the tuna came out and we waited and waited for mine to appear. We waited so long, when we finally got the attention of a server, we requested getting some chips and salsa in the meantime. While we were still waiting for the chips and salsa, then my pork came out. I managed to finish the pork and we were still waiting for the chips and salsa. We also waited a while to again get the attention of a server to look at the dessert menu. And then to get the dessert. Based on the pricing, I would have hoped for a little bit better in this department. Not likely to be back.
Loved our experience here! Went for brunch and tge bright airy decor was just beautiful. There were 5 of us and we shared a bunch of food and everyone loved it. They tell you to order 2-3 plates per person but we found that wasn't necessary as some of the plates are bigger portions. I would say 1.5 plates per person is more than enough! I loved the chilaquiles which had a lot of flavour as well as the sweet potatoe tlayuda. I will definitely be going back!
