Ovo Frito Cafe

Great spicy breakfast food! I had Derek's Favorite Eggs, a wonderful blend of flavors and textures, Nice and spicy with Chorizo, but not overwhelmingly so. One of the best breakfast skillets I've ever had. Also very warm, bright atmosphere and efficient service.

If you are looking for chilaquiles go to Frida’s cafe. Its really loud in the background

Very typical Evanston cafe. Not bad but nothing groundbreaking. Don't sit at the bar—servers will constantly bump into you.

What a great spot! The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. Each staff member was friendly and attentive. And, the coffee cups were the perfect size! Highly recommend!

First time going to Ovo Frito Cafe and won’t be our last time. We got Derek’s Favorite Eggs, breakfast tacos and a side of pancakes and everything was incredible. Staff was friendly and so efficient we were in and out in under 30 minutes. Highly recommend!

Nice neighborhood cafe. Very friendly and quick service. Really tasty food. Huge menu. Will have to go back to try the rest of their offerings.
