Outpost Burger

Been to this location two times. Both times were great experiences. Staff is great, restaurant is pleasing to enter, family friendly. You can grab a beer at the place next door and bring it to the food side. The chili fries are yummy, taste a hint of cinnamon in the chili. The chili dog is so worth it. I had the spicy burger with an impossible patty(the way they cook the impossible burger is not like anything I have ever had). They make the patties crispy which is very delicious. They also have fresh squeezed lemonade. We will definitely be back and want to recommend this place to everyone. It’s nice for Davis to have a place like this. Vegetarian options: Impossible burger

One of the best burgers I’ve had. Incredibly flavorful and just the right size. Kid-friendliness: They have some arcade games. Totally kid friendly.

Chicken strips were dry

The main burger joints in Davis up to this point have remained as In-N-Out, Froggy's, and Burgers and Brew, in ascending price. Now, Outpost Burger has joined the game and perfectly slots itself in between a cheap, decent burger like In-N-Out while not being as pricey as the other two mentioned. Ordered the deluxe burger with the chili fries, and this is exactly what Davis has been missing: a classic delicious smash burger with thick steak fries to accompany it. The burger had the satisfying laces of beef crisp on the edges, fresh veggies, and a pillowy bun. Fries were crispy, and the chili + cheese on top was like a warm salty blanket. Looking forward to my next visit!
