Outback Steakhouse

As normal, the Blooming Onion and the bread were great. The server was attentive and friendly and it was an off time with no crowd at all. Then came the burgers..... one requested 'very well done' and the other 'medium well'. I know, I know - transgressions against the beef and all that.... still, it was what we wanted and ordered. Neither order should have any pink left in the meat, yet both did - at a level I would call normal medium or below. The server was apologetic and we re-assured him that it was not his fault in the least. No, we did not send them back to be cooked more, if the cook felt that was his/her best effort, so be it.

We were in Missoula for a day trip from Kalispell and stopped in for dinner before heading home. It seemed the restaurant was a little short staffed so although there were tons of empty tables, there was still a 10 minute wait to be seated. We waited, while the host and busser chatted instead of cleaning off a table, then we were finally seated at a table in the bar. After another 10 minute wait, we were finally greeted by our server Hailey. It was obvious she was busy and stretched thin but she was amazing. While everyone else looked over at us but didn’t bother to help, she went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was fabulous!! Hailey was the only staff member in the building that took the time to check in, treat us like people, and have any interaction with us. She was kind, professional, and very personable. We even shared our Lego stories If. It for her, our entire experience at this location would have been a bust. Thank you Hailey! You made our trip to Missoula the best!!

Ordered our steak medium rare and it was trying to crawl off my plate. Totally raw and chewy! Waited for our waitress forever and by then we were not hungry anymore so we got no steak. Managers hideous solution was to take the blooming onion off the bill?? Hello?? The blooming onion was amazing, the steak sucked! So we walked out with 10$ off the bill and a 10$ gift card to use by match 31st. We live in kalispell aren't going to make it down before then so basically we got 10$ off for a 30$ steak that the cook screwed up. Very disappointed because this is our go to place to eat every time we do come down. Different manager would have handled this different I'm sure.

it was absolutely amazing our server was the best he was so attentive, we ordered 2 apps, 2 soups, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert the food was absolutely incredible.

Been to this location multiple times always had spectacular food! However this time not so much! First 8oz steak brought out medium well. They had the steak refired and it was brought out raw and cold in the center.. The cook has one job when there is steak in your business name!!!! Cook a steak!! It was super disappointing because I drove from Kalispell just to go to the restaurant!

I always like outback. I was sad to learn that (at least at this franchise location) they are not bringing back outback style primerib. I did enjoy my ribeye instead.
