I tried the prime rib sandwich for the first time. It wasn't as good as what I was expecting from the outback. I also ordered the blooming onion and that was a total let down. I don't know if their temperature on their oil is up high enough, but it was waterlogged with oil.
There was a 15-20 minute wait time on a Saturday night which was no biggie. Or server, though his name is escaping me, was awesome. My indecisive family had him come back to take our order a few times because they couldn’t decide. When our food came out, my mom thought her steak was just a bit too pink and my daughter didn’t like the seasoning on her shrimp. Rodney, the manager was happy to fix both with a smile. He was very friendly and helpful. Though they seemed a bit understaffed and busy, the staff’s demeanor and customer service never showed distress or frustration. Traditional prime rib, shrimp and steak Alfredo, and New York ribeye were what we had and it was delicious.
Just not good anymore, don't know what's going on?
Really enjoyed our time. Rodney is amazing!! Very kind and attentive. Our steak was overcooked but they quickly handled it with another delicious steak!
So we came here as the second option. We thought it was going to be good. Our favorite place was packed. Hour plus wait time. We should have waited. Outback had no wait time. This should have been a clue. The steak was not good. I had to send it back. The salad had too much dressing and not enough salad. Bread was warm but not fresh, tough, and dried out. The potatoes were, well, not what a baked potato should be. Still was hard and didn't taste good. We were overcharged, and it was definitely not worth coming to or coming back. We will not be back!
