The food was outstanding, pasta was fresh, and pizza had the best spice. Our first time here would definitely come back.
the carbonara was the best dish, the pizza cannot be defined as Italian, like the hospitality. the waiters constantly ask you if you want to finish what you are eating or want to wrap it up and they bring you the bill while you are finishing without even asking if you want to order anything else. Absolutely not the Italian mood!
I really dislike how this restaurant blocks off the right lane on Melrose Ave for their customers to park their cars. It creates a nightmare of traffic conjestion between Wilton and Van Ness. This should be illegal and this restaurant fined for doing this. Don't open a restaurant at a location if there's no proper parking lot for your customers.
A loungy vibe with people talking super loud. Food was good. Portions were okay. Parking: You might have to walk 1-5 minutes after finding parking on the street. But you should be okay.
I was pretty blown away by this place!! I’d heard about it for years and finally got to visit. Sat at the bar, was well taken care of, every dish was stellar, not a miss in the lineup. Drinks were flowing (they have a Suntory Whiskey Highball machine which was delish), and we got some good recs on food and drink (of course the Carbonara was excellent). The pizza was much better than many other places that “specialize” in it. Highly recommended.
This place is very near to Hollywood historic hotel. We made reservation for dinner. The place was packed on that Thursday night. The table next to us said their pasta is very good. We ordered carbonara which was indeed good. The sausage and peppers pizza was a little too spicy for us. Overall we enjoyed our dinner as it’s was only 3 mins walk from our hotel.
Delicious carbonara pastas. Ladies at the entrance are really welcoming.
