Osteria La Baia

19MAR24 - Stopped in for dinner after a long day at a lighting conference, LEDucation. I had a stuffed and smoked rigatoni special as my main meal and Caesar salad to start, then finished with the raspberry chocolate dessert. The food was spectacular! If I could give six stars... Or 10 stars, I would. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was Laura T. She was fantastic. If you're going to Osteria La Baia for the first time you should ask for her specifically. The atmosphere was pleasant and the lighting was professional very engaging. The lighting designer did an excellent job highlighting architectural details and preventing glare in the all directions. Go! You won't regret it.

Everything was delicious and service was great! The rigatoni in vodka sauce was my favorite dish. Our waiters were extremely attentive. Highly recommend

Strange service throughout, waitress seemed new. Food was okay, for the price many better Italian spots nearby. Wine menu was okay, not extensive but certainly good enough.

Tucked away in Midtown’s busy streets, this place offers a refined take on Italian-inspired cuisine. The space itself is gorgeous, with dim lighting providing an intimate atmosphere, and the staff is kind and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the “Tonno” tuna tartare and their homemade fettuccine with lobster, but we recommend asking your waiter for their favorites on the menu! All in all a great experience — five stars from here.

My friend and I had an incredible time at La Baia. Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We went with their traditional pasta dishes which were delicious, and sorbet and creme brûlée for dessert which did not disappoint;) Jose was a great waiter, we were super taken care of, and wanted to stay all night. Thank you for having us!

Wonderful way to begin the evening before the theatre! The food was extremely fresh, delicious, and well prepared! The entire staff was attetive and friendly. Fantastic!
