Great sushi for reasonable prices!

not surprised this place has 4.5 stars in Columbus, Ohio. In other markets it would never survive. Sushi is so average it's not funny. Night I visited it felt colder in the restaurant than it was outside on a 56 degree day. I couldn't eat fast enough and get out...meh

Get the crab sushi panini unless you’re allergic then get something else. Parking: More parking behind building.

Oshio has a good range of menu. We ordered the flagship titanic set for a special birthday dinner, plus many other dishes. The sushi had many varieties of fish, which impressed my Japanese Mrs. Agedashi tofu, calamari, crispy rice, and other dishes were all yummy. Stone bibimbab was also tasty, according to the Korean friends, but the pot wasn’t sizzling. This is understandable, since it may be dangerous to the uninitiated.

We've been coming to Oshio for a while now, as it's been our fave sushi kitchen, and we hadn't been for a while. We noticed a decrease in quality from the last time we were here. They were out of a LOT of drink options (one server said "Let me tell you what I CAN give you" after I ran through 4 options that they were out of) which the night before Valentine's Day seems odd. The food is still delicious but they used to have a much nicer presentation (orchid flowers, now we just got a slice of lemon on gyoza? Do people squirt lemon juice on gyoza?), and the meal that I ordered (Fire Chicken) was very light on the chicken but I swear they shopped a whole large onion in there. My husband commented that his sushi roll was very loose. I'm hoping this was just an off night between deliveries and that they were just low on everything.
