What a gem! The food was so delicious. The dining room is small and minimal, but the food exceeds expectations. Very charming place in a lovely neighborhood.
Amazing beef stew. Fall apart meat. Best meal we had out in NYC. Highly recommend
Troute almandine is the delicious dish name. Order it next time you go!! Also you need to try the pasta! Delicious and perfectly burnt cheese on top as well as the ham inside
The beef stew was unbelievably tasty served with excellent crispy chips (fries if you are American) and the bangers and mash was great, it just needed onion gravy to take it to the next level.
I’ve been here 3 times. I wish I took better photos. This place is charming. It’s tiny. The service is friendly and fast. The people who work here, including the chef, are warm and kind and easy going. The Belgian hot chocolate is fresh and delicious. My French onion soup, eggs and toast, salad and a tuba melt w fries were each delicious. They play French music and 1930 ‘s jazz and pleasant music to eat to. The cozy, candlelit, yellow tuliped atmosphere is sweet. I love this place!!
i loved this place on my visit their dream macaroni and cheese was in my opinion absolute bliss and gives Gordon Ramsey's gouda mac and cheese a run for its money, being some of the best mac and cheese ive ever had! the staff and owner was very nice and the atmosphere was nice too! i went here to talk with a local friend which is also friends with the owner which recommended this place. if you go here you gotta have the dream mac and cheese! greetings from California!
This is probably one of the village's well kept secrets. Don't expect a fancy place, but the location has a great atmosphere. We came in by chance, looking for a quick beer and a quick bite. While the places round Christopher street were all totally busy, we had a nice table in here, very friendly and helpful service, great beer, and the food was outstanding. I will definitely return.
